Sports Massage

A special form of massage developed to help athletes reach their peak performance, to assist in their recovery afterwards and to facilitate the healing processes after injuries as well as prevention from injuries. It utilizes techniques such as stretching, jostling and therapeutic massage. It is appropriate for fit individuals and is adapted to the athlete’s current needs.

Deep Tissue Massage

Meant to free the adhered fibers of a muscle while helping to release deeply-held trigger points, and to relax and soothe the muscles.  This technique focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.  The main goal is to release chronic tension patterns through localized point pressure on adhered areas.   This massage technique focuses on more specific areas and may cause temporary soreness the night of and day after the massage

Systemic Maintenance/Relaxation Massage

Systemic Maintenance massage relieves stress and allows the body to relax and unwind. Massage pressure applied during this treatment will be tailored to suit ones specific needs.

Prenatal Massage

This massage is focused on reducing muscular discomforts and relieving many of the aches and pains experienced during pregnancy.  We have a specialized prenatal table with a comfortable space for the belly that allows treatments to be performed in the prone position. (Face down.)  Be sure to bring a doctors referral for massage therapy if there have been any complications with this or any previous pregnancy.
